黏土动画《从南极来的企鹅》由瑞士动画大师Otmar Gutman创作，1986年至2000年期间在瑞士电视台播出。
Pingu is a stop-motion clay animated children's comedy created by Otmar Gutmann and produced from 1986 to 2000 for Swiss television.
故事围绕着一个拟人化的企鹅家庭展开，主人公Pingu淘气又善良，他和家人好友相处的点点滴滴，逗趣温馨。故事里亲情和友情，还有成长的酸酸甜甜，都是取自于生活中的点点滴滴。
It centers on a family of anthropomorphic penguins who live at the South Pole. The main character is the family's son and title character, Pingu who is quite naughty but kind. You can feel love, friendship, and bitter and sweet life of Penguin’s’ from the comedy.

One reason for Pingu's international success is its lack of real spoken language: nearly all dialogue is in an invented grammelot "penguin language" consisting of babbling, muttering, and his characteristic sporadic loud honking noise "Nug nug!" accompanied by turning his beak into a megaphone like shape.

Pingu
主人公

Pingu is the main character of the series, a typically playful, sometimes naughty, curious little boy penguin. He is strong-willed and mostly well-behaved but prone to making mischief and throwing occasional tantrums.
Pinga

Pinga is Pingu's younger sister. She resembles an emperor penguin chick, as do other infant/toddler penguins throughout the show. Like all toddlers, she is happy and playful but very sensitive, and is often a target for Pingu's practical jokes.

Robby is a grey seal and his is a good friend of Pingu. First appearing in the episode "Pingu Goes Fishing", he is friendly and playful, yet cheeky in a lot of ways.
Pingi

Pingi is Pingu's girlfriend and Pinga's best friend. She has thick, white eyelashes and a somewhat mushed beak. She first appeared in the episode "Pingu's Admirer". Pinga sometimes makes fun of Pingu, because he's paying more attention to her.
